Winslow Unit Ratifies 3-Year Contract Agreement

On February 7 and 8, the approximately sixty Winslow Township workers represented by Local 1014 voted on a three-year agreement with their employer covering 2017-2019. The agreement includes 2% increases in each of the years and an understanding that the Township will amend its residency policy to allow bargaining unit members with five years of service to move out of the Township. The increases are retroactive to January 2017.  The agreement also capped the increase in the health benefits premium subject to Chapter 78 worker contributions to 2% above the 2017 in 2018 and 4% above the 2018 rate in 2019. Members approved the agreement 41 yes to 7 no votes. The unit includes administrative, clerical and blue collar workers.
