New Contract Ratified by Gloucester Township Administrative Staff Unit

The administrative, clerical workers, Pre-K teachers and recreation center employees represented by Local 1014 in Gloucester Township voted on a tentative contract agreement on February 22. The agreement between the union and the Township, which was ratified 47 to 4, included increases of $350/year (to offset the last year of the Chapter 78 employee health contribution phase-in), plus 2% for full-time workers. In 2018, most members of the unit received a $1.25/hour increase, plus 2%. And in the last year (2019), workers received a 2% increase. As part of this agreement, workers agreed to a new base health benefit plan which raised the maximum out of pocket cost for those that went outside the designated "network".
