Each year since 1997, the Local 1014 Scholarship Fund has awarded scholarships at the Local's March General Membership Meeting. On March 28, 2019, it happened again at the Local's meeting in the Camden County Emergency Training Center in Blackwood. The fundraising efforts of the Local 1014 Scholarship and Golf Tourament Committees came to fruition in the awarding of twenty $500 scholarships to the sons and daughters of Local 1014 members. Since the establishment of the fund, over $228,000 in scholarships has been awarded.

At the CWA Local 1014 Board of Trustees Meeting on December 4, President Karl Walko announced his upcoming retirement, saying, "Effective July 1, 2019, I will resign as President of Local 1014. Vice President Pallante will take my place. I am grateful to Amber that she has accepted this new role.

CWA Local 1014 representatives in the City of Camden organized their first "Holiday Luncheon" funded by the contractual Health and Welfare contribution from the City. The contribution is directed primarily to fund City workers Vision Benefit; however, a sufficient amount remained to provide for a very successful event. Luncheons were held in City Hall, Public Works and HHS.
